A most glorious new year blessing I prophesy to you all in Jesus gracious name, Amen.
I feel so much excitement in my spirit as I begin to live through God’s plan for my life in 2011 and beyond. I am fully assured that it is indeed the beginning of a new level in my walk with the Lord. The Lord ministered the following divine words to my family (as recorded in Psalm 1:1-3) as we waited on Him at the start of the new year to know what the year held for us:
Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither – whatever they do prospers!
Amazing revelation! God wants us to delight in His word and to meditate on it day and night. I believe that the only way we can do this is by sitting in His presence; meditating on His word and learning of him; and daily walking in the consciousness of His presence. He does not want us to conform to the ways of this world but to become more like Him. As we learn to dwell with him in consistent praise and worship, the beauty of holiness will be seen in us and men will come to the brightness of that beauty.
His words further promise that if you and I will choose to dwell in His presence this year, we will be a like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding fruits in season! Our leaves shall not wither and whatsoever we do in the name of the Lord shall prosper!
This is the reason why I have not ceased to dance and celebrate! God in His infinite mercy and loving kindness has shown us the way to prosper this year. These words are timely and are empowering!
And so with all humility in my heart, I encourage you to seek God early by separating time within the next few days. Consecrate yourself for God’s use. Let Him endue you with His grace, wisdom and strength to do His will this year. He will give you visions upon your bed and will equip you for the work that He calls you to do.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart for He who calls you is most faithful to accomplish all He sends and says through you this year. As you declare it in His presence and in His name, so shall it be unto you and unto those who receive your words – In Jesus Name, Amen. Do not walk in your strength this year but believe that it is God who works through you to do of His will and of His good pleasure.
God does not desire that men perish but that all will come to the saving knowledge of His love. Will you go for the Lord this year? I pray that as you learn to live in His presence this year, you will make a difference to your generation. I love you with the love of my Lord.
