Woman of God, I celebrate and honor you. It is such a privilege to be a chosen vessel of the Living God. I do not take this lightly at all. I trust that your daily prayer is that you will understand the fullness and richness of this calling in God.
To answer the call of God to a service, task, an assignment or divine purpose of God for your life means you have willingly chosen to lay down your life to see God’s glory revealed through you and that assignment. It also means you understand that it will cost you, even to your very life and that you have counted the cost. You are committing to pay the price whatever it takes.
Answering God’s call also means that you know fully well that it will never be your will but His. So He leads and you follow! He sends you and you go – simply! Whether you know where and how, it doesn’t matter. You just go! You go trusting that It is He who is sending you. You cant assume there wont be challenges but you determine to grow in courage daily as you trust Him to be with you in every challenge and trial. You recognize its all about HIM and not you. His agenda, not yours. His timing, not yours. His way, not yours. And His will, not yours.
And so, it wont be an easy journey. It will often feel very lonely and too costly. According to scripture, you must present yourself a living sacrifice to God. And what’s even more important to know is that this journey will last your lifetime!
I can just picture you gently rising and stretching yourself up in your bed to consider carefully what this means exactly.
“Can I do this? Can I pay this price? What does this really mean? Do I have enough grace for this assignment? Am I truly called for this”?
Luke 14:28 (NLT)
“But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it”?
2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLT)
“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me”.
One thing is certain – you are in this to win and to succeed. God cannot fail us and so we must not fail God. We must run to obtain the crown of His glory.
1 Corinthians 9: 25 – 29 (NIV)
“Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize”.
It is a honor to be called by God and that’s all that matters. “For see, I am with you until the end”, says Our Lord and Master Jesus Christ!
1 Thessalonians 5:24
“The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it”.
Every woman who is called needs to read this!
