Is Witnessing Jesus your way of life?

I write to you this evening my beloved sisters as I take up a fresh burden for the gospel of truth which you and I have come to know as life! There is no life outside of Jesus and if you consider the fact that millions still don’t acknowlegde Him as the Lord of their lives and the saviour of the whole world, then you must share this burden too!

Your life is your greatest tool for witnessing Jesus. It is what you have believed, the glory of God which must be manifested through you, your battles that can only be overcome through faith in Jesus, the words of your testimony of Christ and your desire to live as Christ lived whilst on earth that will draw men back to God. Of course, we cannot do anything in our strength or in the flesh. That is why He has given us the Holy Spirit to be our helper. It is Him alone who is able to teach us all things. Therefore you must be sensitive to His presence in you and be mindful not to grieve Him in any way lest He departs from you even for a season.

You are a carrier of the life that can only be found in Jesus. You have the spirit of truth, the Holy Spirit of the living God within you that will help build your compassion for lost souls. Witnessing is a spiritual exercise which must be performed without ceasing. Apostle Paul admonishes us in 1 Timothy 4: 8:

“For physical training is of some value (useful for a little), but godliness (spiritual training) is useful and of value in everything and in every way, for it holds promise for the present life and also for the life which is to come”.

Developing immense compassion for the lost is a spiritual exercise that will be profitable and useful in everything and in every way. Make it a habit to want to talk about your Master at every given opportunity. Desire it sincerely as God will grant you the honest desires of our heart.

Prayerfully ask God for divine encounters and inspired opportunities. Take advantage of the situations before you. Let this be your one aim at all times – To make Jesus known in word, thought and deed.
